REJOICE

We rejoice with the angels over the birth of two new sisters. Shannon Blade (left), sister of Seth Bond, was baptized Sunday, January 15th. Julia Underwood (right), who is part of ReDiscovery, was baptized Tuesday, January 17th. Please welcome and encourage these new ones.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Richard Brown: “Thank you for the outpouring of prayers and expressions of support as I deal with pancreatic cancer.  This has been both very encouraging and humbling, and words fail to express what is in my heart. After a careful review of the test results and scans by the primary oncologist, we decided to go ahead with surgery next Friday, January 27.  In Christian Love, Richard and Sandra.”

Debbie Cole: “Watching from home this morning I am having blood pressure problems, causing headache and eye difficulties. Please remember Jamie and myself, as we have to travel to Birmingham tomorrow (Monday, January 23rd) for neurological evaluation.” (Update: Debbie is doing much better. Jamie got a good report with some medicine changes and was told to continue with what they are doing.)

Please keep Pati Dobbs in your prayers as she recovers from her surgery.

Lora Porter: “Thank you all for your continued prayers for my mother. She is home from the hospital; we have the assistance of Hospice. We are praying for management of her pain.”

Tom and Selwyn Reynolds: “Praise God for continued healing for Regina Ralston of her cancer. Please pray for her to adjust to the prosthetic leg she is getting soon.”

Doug Turbyfill: “For God’s love and my brothers at His Way.”

Keiandra Tyler: “I am thankful to see you all. You guys look great! I’m so amazed at how God has blessed my family and how He is continuing to bless us.”

Mothers-In-Waiting: Allison Ledford (6/2023) and Samantha Strachan Ajayi (6/2023)

Our Missionaries: Denisovs & Rahimovs (Tomsk, Russia), Kishore Etwaroo Family (Port Kaituma, Guyana), Carlos & Linda Eguizabal (Juayua & Salcoatitan, El Salvador) & YOU (Huntsville Area)

CONGRATULATIONS

Our congratulations to Tonino and Kat Nambo, who are the proud parents of a boy. Theodore “Teddy” Gene was born Monday night, January 23rd, weighing 4 pounds 13 ounces. His grandparents, Peter and Melia Romine, and uncles and aunts are excited about his arrival.

THANK YOU

Dear Central Family,

Tonino and I want to say a huge thank you for all the love and support we received at our baby shower. We were not expecting all the love and thoughtful gifts, so we were incredibly humbled by the outpouring.

We are grateful to have a church family we can raise Theodore in and thankful that he will be surrounded by wisdom, love and great examples of Christ.

With love,

The Nambos
